Pawspert is an Indian pet care app, built in India by a small independent team and founded in 2026. This page explains what the app does, who our guides are for, and the standards every guide on this site is held to.
Pawspert helps Indian pet parents look after their pets' health in one place:
For veterinary clinics, Pawspert also provides a free provider portal to run the front desk: appointments, walk-in bookings, client and pet records, and vaccination records that go straight to the pet parent.
Our guides answer the questions Indian pet parents actually ask, from vaccination schedules to what a vet visit costs. Every guide is held to these standards:
| Topic | Primary sources |
|---|---|
| Vaccination schedules | World Small Animal Veterinary Association (WSAVA) vaccination guidelines, including its recommendations for Asia, and the AAHA and AAHA/AAFP guidelines |
| Rabies and dog bites | India's National Guidelines for Rabies Prophylaxis and the World Health Organization |
| Parasites, ticks and deworming | Tropical Council for Companion Animal Parasites (TroCCAP) guidelines, which are written for tropical countries like India |
| Diseases, poisons and emergencies | The Merck Veterinary Manual, ASPCA Animal Poison Control and peer-reviewed studies |
| Rules, schemes and insurance | Official pages of municipal corporations, the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying, the Animal Welfare Board of India, and insurers' own policy pages |
Veterinary pricing in India is unregulated and varies widely between cities and clinics. We give ranges rather than single figures, built from published clinic, laboratory, pharmacy and insurer prices, and we date every guide so you know how current it is. We also name the cheaper route, such as government veterinary hospitals, even when it means fewer bookings for us.
Our guides are general information, not veterinary advice for your individual pet. They are researched against the published guidelines listed above. We are adding review by registered veterinarians, and any guide that has been reviewed will name the reviewer and their registration on the page.
No clinic, brand or insurer pays to appear in our guides, and we do not accept paid placements. Where we compare products or insurers, we describe them from their own published terms.
Each guide shows the date it was last updated. We review prices and guidelines regularly, and update a guide when a guideline, rule or price range changes. If you spot an error, write to us and we will check it against the source and correct it.
Email support@pawspert.com for corrections, questions about a guide, or anything to do with the app. You can also find us on Google Play and Instagram.
Book clinic, at-home or video consultations and keep your pet's vaccinations, prescriptions and visit history behind one QR code any vet can scan.
